
"Hamnet" und "One Battle After Another" sind die Abräumer bei der Preisverleihung am 11. Januar 2026, die ziemlich brav und zahnlos über die Bühne ging. So waren es nicht die Reden, die Moderationen in denen Kritik geäußert wurde, sondern eher stille Hinweise wie Anstecker mit dem Schriftzug "Be Good" die sich eindeutig auf die von ICE erschossene 37-Jährige Renee Nicole Good aus Minneapolis bezogen. Und natürlich einige der ausgewählten Filme, die als politisch kritische Statements verstanden werden konnten. Allen voran "One Battle after another".
